Why do we exclusively use soy wax?
Many candles available today are made from paraffin wax, a petroleum-based wax that is widely used because it is inexpensive, easy to work with, and ideal for creating vibrant colours and strong fragrances.
At SUKI & JANE, we choose a different approach.
Our candles are crafted from a luxurious blend of 100% natural pure soy wax sourced from Japan and the United Kingdom. Soy wax is a renewable, plant-based material that offers a cleaner and more environmentally conscious alternative.
It burns gently at a lower temperature, produces minimal soot when burned properly, and provides a longer-lasting burn, allowing you to enjoy its fragrance and warm glow for even longer.
We believe that true luxury begins with the materials you cannot see.

What should I do if I spill candle wax?
If wax is spilled on hard surfaces such as wooden flooring, allow it to soften by applying warm air from a hairdryer. Once the wax begins to melt, gently wipe it away with a paper towel or soft cloth.
If wax comes into contact with clothing or delicate fabrics, we recommend consulting a professional dry cleaner.
If you choose to remove the wax at home, please follow these steps:

Allow the wax to harden completely, then gently remove as much as possible by hand.

Place the garment on an ironing board with the wax-stained side facing upward. Cover the affected area with absorbent paper, such as paper towels or plain newspaper.

Set the iron to a low temperature with the steam function turned off. Gently press over the paper, allowing the melted wax to transfer into the paper. Replace the paper as needed until no more wax is absorbed.

Before proceeding, test the fabric in an inconspicuous area to ensure it is suitable for warm water. Then soak the garment in warm water (approximately 70–80°C / 158–176°F) with a small amount of mild detergent. As the water cools, any remaining wax will harden and can be removed.
Please always follow the care instructions provided by the garment manufacturer, as some fabrics may not be suitable for heat or hot water.
What should I do if the flame becomes unstable?
If the flame becomes too small or too large, we recommend performing regular candle maintenance.
